The screen is made from Ultra High Impact clear acrylic and can slide up to give protection while on the faster stretches or down while riding technical stuff. This is accomplished with a thumb screw so requires no tools to adjust the height in any situation. It has a lot of intricate parts that need to be machined to run in the track thus the expense. The thumb screw is also a machined aluminium billet part.
