Honda XR650L extra wide style front sprocket retainer clip – temporary out of stock

This is our new quick change front sprocket retainer for the Honda XR650L.

This retainer is a no hassle installation for quick change sprocket swaps with simple readily available tools ( pliers and screw driver ).  

This spring clip retainer takes the place of the OEM two bolt retainer and bolts

Designed for OFF ROAD USE with the thought in mind that you can ride to your fav. off road spot using a 16 tooth sprocket and larger than stock rear sprocket. Then quickly change to the 13 and enjoy the ripping torque provided by the huge amount of reduction the 13 tooth offers for the technical stuff. You will really be surprised how much better a big bike like a XRL handles off road with low gearing.

Our warranty extends to the fit of the retainer to a stock, un-modified 1993 to 2016 Honda XR650L’s. We are sorry but since we have no control over the environment this retainer is to be used in, wear is not covered by warranty.

Please check out our other items for our line of full spline contact double sided, double life front sprockets. Available in 15 tooth and 16 tooth sprocket versions in South Africa. These sprockets end the high amount of wear that occurs on the counter shaft from using a thin standard sprocket. Our sprockets can be used to extend the service life of a worn shaft because our full spline contact sprocket will bridge the small wear pattern caused by a thin sprocket and once again fit tightly on the counter shaft.
