Honda XR650L Side Stand Lowering Link Adaptor

Now you can bolt on an adaptor that lets you use the original OEM bike side stand ( without cutting it down ) when you fit a LOWERING LINK to your bike. It is an easy bolt on fitting. This will let you re-use the original side stand IF  the bike is changed back to the original suspension linkage later on. The original parts that one will use are the side stand and the original side stand spring. Another plus is that the side stand rests higher off the ground and out of harms way than the original so when the suspension compresses it does not hit the ground anymore.
