With the XR650L Acerbis 23 litre long range tank it relies on using the lower tank mounting brackets for stability. These sometimes crack and break off resulting in an unsupported tank. It is suggested that you mount one of these onto your bike BEFORE the original tank mounting brackets break off.

This bracket is a bolt on solution to the problem. The original bracket will NOT NEED TO BE CUT OFF to install this replacement bracket. It is made to work and support the original bracket and bolts onto it. It is made from 3mm mild steel and powder coated silver to match the frame.
